OC-1 Lines transmit data at a rate of 51.84 (Mbps) Megabits per second. AT&T Internet Service is a dedicated Internet access provider service that delivers businesses with high-speed Internet access through communications facilities managed by none other than AT&T Communications. However, slowly and steadily the area of need for T3 lines is increasing. In telecommunications, fiber-optic wavelength-division multiplexing also known as WDM, is a technology which multiplexes multiple optical carrier signals on a single optical fiber strand by using different wavelengths or colours of laser light to transport different optical carrier signals. The bandwidth is particularly important for I/O (Input/Output) devices. ADSL is available in a wide range of speeds and service options. In most cases, it is the least expensive way for businesses to obtain broadband service. We have many relationships with several providers, our mission is to find the most cost effective telecom service solution for your need. ADSL is the acronym for Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line which is a type of DSL service with asymmetrical upload and download speeds. If VoIP (Voice Over the Internet Protocol) is what you are looking for, you've come to the right place. Our voip product specialists can find solve your problems and find solutions for any service that is available. Earning your trust is what we do here. Finding solutions and saving you money is how we keep it. We'll solve it, and find the right solution for your needs that will last for generations to come. Since the SDSL service is "symmetrical", you can expect upload speeds to be equivalent to download speeds in most instances. Our services provide carrier-grade SLAs and performance metrics and our footprint lets you reach all the important carrier facility buildings and locations within your market need. We have providers of local telecommunications network services for businesses, communications companies, local exchange carriers and (ISP's) internet service providers. It isn't unusual for long distance companies who are most likely the national or regional ISP's, also own the local circuits and are also the local telecommunications provider. Depending on your location and T1 provider availability, a fractional T1 will normally be priced between $250.00 and $750.00. A T1 is more expensive than a DSL connection but is much more reliable. Asynchronous, the opposite of synchronous when relating to Internet, the Bandwidth is occurring at different times. The Internet is a compilation of interconnected computer networks, linked by fiber-optic cables, copper wires, wireless connections and several other mechanisms. A T1 Line PRI line works like a basic T1 line except that it reserves one channel for signaling and data for caller ID T1 lines are overkill for the average home use. Global Crossing's Dedicated Access Telecom products offer High-Speed Internet solutions for businesses that need high-performance and full-time dedicated Internet access with QoS. The larger, well known companies as Verizon, ATT and Qwest fit under the Incumbent local exchange carriers (ILEC) and (RBOC) category. Banks have also expressed an interest in dark fiber as a secure network that could avoid being hacked. At full capacity, the DS3 has the same capacity as 28 T1’s together. XO Pierce College, Playa Del Rey, Playa Vista, Pomona, Porter Ranch, Portuguese Bend, Press Telegram, Preuss, Quartz Hill, Ralph M Parsons Co, Rancho Dominguez, Rancho La Tuna Canyon, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rancho Park T-PAC. It takes less money and manpower to add additional T1 lines than it does to totally upgrade to a T3 line. Internet DSL service is actually very different than phone service. Besides the noticeable difference of one being voice and one being data, competitive carriers often use their own equipment which is kept at the phone company's facilities or CO. Dark fiber searches in South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin, West Virginia and Wyoming. To put it simply, the Internet is the compilation of networks and it communicates by using the universal protocol language TCP/IP or Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol. There is usually a surcharge if the extra bandwidth is utilized. |
Written by: Patrick Oborn - Jul 4, 2009 DSL Service offers residential customers high speed internet access for a very reasonable rate. Many people don't realize that DSL speeds of 1.5Mbps are the same as T1 speeds which top out at 1.5Mbps. What's the difference? To start with...the price. DSL costs $35 per month on average where a full T1 usually costs $400 or $500 if you're in a metro location and up to $1,000 per month if you're in a rural location. Why the high cost for T1 service without the extra speed? A T1 gives reliable service and is not shared with other subscribers or oversubscribed the way DSL is. Because it is not a shared service it carries a high cost. DSL service offers a slightly less reliable service for a fraction of the cost. If you already have DSL Service you may have noticed that it's fast at some times and slower at other times. This is because it's oversubscribed. Oversubscription means that many people are pulling from the same resource. During the afternoon when people are at work there may be plenty of bandwidth to have, but in the evening when everyone is looking up the news, going through e-mail, or shopping online, access tends to be strained. Many people pulling from the same limited resource will find that there's only so much to go around. What does this mean to you? Slow speeds occasionally in peak traffic hours. Most residential users' biggest concern is price and that's why DSL Service is so popular among them. A few slow periods are a small price to pay for a 90% discount if you're using the service at home. |
